Election and highways

Hello everybody,
My first post on your board:)

I have a question that concerns last election in Slovakia. Do you expect the election result will affect the highway constructions? If yes, then what way? Would it delay, or speed up signing of new contracts?

Is there any news since then ?
Have the official highway programs been altered yet ?

Just a note for you guys: with all the respect to DrX, his opinions are often really radical as he really hates north parts of Slovakia, especially Zilina region, so don't take him too seriously. I'm not saying all his information is useless, some could be really useful for you, but please keep this in your minds.

There should be some changes. "North" D1, however, remains the priority.
Due to hungarian party in the current government, some further 'movement' in construction of southern expressways - R1 in particular - could be expected.
There are rumours of improving 1st class roads in the form of city by-passes and additional lines where needed, instead of building expressways.

the biggest questions are 2 PPP projects, new finance minister wants to make PPP1 cheaper.
